Granda Continues On Top With His Composition, “Diamond Girl”

The already famous music and entertainment executive, Joe Granda, whose talents include event producer, music producer, song writer, promoter, and music manager, in addition to being President/CEO of The Granda Group of Companies, continues to experience success with “Diamond Girl”, the classic ‘80’s hit song which he wrote and produced. The song was originally recorded by the group “Nice N Wild”; a group created by Granda, and found itself on the Billboard charts for 27 consecutive weeks.  The song also made chart history by prompting Billboard Magazine to create the now de-funked, “Crossover” chart.  Now after 20 years, the song has re-entered Billboard’s “Latin Songs Chart” at #39 in the March 6th issue.  The track “Diamond Girl” now recorded by the group KMW and produced by Pavel Dejesus, is under music label Musart/Balboa and Universal Music Publishing’s editorial administration.

El ya famoso ejecutivo de la musica y entretenimiento, Joe Granda, cuyos talentos incluye productor de eventos, productor musical, compositor, promovedor, y manejador de talento bajo sumando como Presidente/CEO de The Granda Group of Companies, continua arrasando con su composición y producción del tema clásico de los ‘80’s “Diamond Girl”, que originalmente fue grabado por el grupo que el creo, “Nice ‘N Wild”. La canción originalmente se encontró por 27 semanas consecutivas en la lista de Billboard de ventas y también causo que la revista Billboard creara por primera vez la lista “Crossover”.  Después de 20 años, el tema vuelve a entrar en Billboard en la posición #39 de la lista “Latin Songs” en la edición del 6 de Marzo 2006.  El tema “Diamond Girl”, ahora grabado por el grupo KMW bajo la producción de Pavel DeJesus, se encuentra bajo el sello Musart/Balboa y  bajo la administración editorial de Universal Music Publishing.
