Pilar & Co. Rock the House in South Beach, FL

Next Stop, Chicago!

South Beach nights are known for it’s characteristically warmer-than-average climate this time of year, but last night temperatures reached record highs at the infamous Score Night Club on Lincoln Road.  “Scorching hot” would be a term more appropriate to describe the ambiance of this popular GLBT night club on the eve of March 21st, 2006; and not because there was any type of air conditioning malfunction. The culprit responsible for the spiking heat wave was Mexico’s own Pilar Montenegro.  The diminutive singer embarked on the first stop of her National Gay Club Tour, produced by the Famous Club Papi Events in association with Granda Entertainment.  The charismatic and ever sexy Pilar Montenegro performed a set of songs from her new record “Pilar & Co.” with special guest, local Miami rapper, J.P., as well as some old favorites for a completely packed house. Joe Granda, President/CEO of The Granda Group of Companies didn’t have to do much during her introduction to get the crowed going; they hung on her every note and enjoyed every last bit of scintillating choreography.  “I love you guys so much!  The Gay community has always shown me so much support and that they love me for real”, said Pilar in between songs, “and tonight is my chance to say thank you to everyone”.  Show-goers gyrated right along with the singer and her dancers as she sexily strutted across the stage. After the show, she happily did a meet and greet with some very lucky fans that remained star struck the rest of the night.  The night continued with lots of dancing and great music by DJ Gil Rodriguez. The next stop on her tour is Circuit Night Club in Chicago on Thursday, March 23rd.  Members of the press that would like credentials for the event must contact Granda Entertainment before 6:30pm on Thursday the 23rd.
